I’m not one to watch football, but I do enjoy the Super Bowl! I only watch it for the funny commercials…does that make me a bad American?

My 14 year old son, however, has been following the Arizona Cardinals for 7 years now, I often asked him why; even with the little knowledge that I have on football, I do know a losing team when I see one and throughout the years of him following football, Arizona has been a losing team!

But today is his day to shine, all of these years of watching his favorite team lose, today is their big day! So, I bought an Arizona Cardinal banner for him to hang with pride as he eats his fattening Super Bowl food, crosses his greasy little fingers and yells things at the T.V. screen that I turn a deaf ear to!

I will never get the game…

But here’s to the Arizona Cardinals and my son, anyways, they have both earned it!
